Warehouses, schools, apartments or even gyms? I divide abandoned and dilapidated mansions in Slovakia into categories according to their last use. This creates a special connection of words and images, which in many cases would naturally be difficult to relate to each other. It is a testimony to the extensive transformation that Slovak society has undergone as a result of political changes in the 20th and 21st centuries, as well as a statement about complicated relationship to cultural values.
